The Three Palaces Festival

Three Palaces Festival - logo

Music of quality and distinction is the best way to describe The Three Palaces Festival. This event has created a following despite its recent inception. It presents another fine programme featuring local and international musicians. Now in its third edition The Three Palaces Festival will be held between the 2nd and 8th of November 2015 at three of Malta’s most beautiful Palaces namely at  San Anton Palace, Verdala Palace, and the Museum of Archaeology.

The festival presents a mix of local and foreign musicians with  a wide repertoire from Classical to Jazz, or more precisely Swing.  Nine concerts are confirmed with a possible tenth yet to be confirmed.  Although the concerts will predominantly be held in the evenings, there are a couple planned for earlier in the day.

The Malta Council for Culture & the Arts  has a regular programme of events running throughout the year. Some are larger festivals on a national scale like Notte Bianca and some others, like The Three Palaces Festival that are smaller and more specific.. Minister Owen Bonnici called this a “festival of elegance”. This is a perfect platform for promoting local artists whose talent is already acclaimed.  Some of these artists have already had exposure abroad and have started establishing themselves on the world stage.

More details about the artists performing and the full programme of events can be found at www.maltaculture.com

The Three Palaces Festival is set to attract discerning followers of the finer arts.
