Malta: A Fall & Winter Wonderland for Sailors

NAutica - Winter Sailing - Feature image

When the sun, obscured by clouds, no longer tans your skin, and the scorching air cools downs to a chill, we tend to forget all about the sea – but, when you’re in Malta, there is a splendid way to enjoy it – through Sailing!

Malta enjoys sizzling summers; the placid waves and windless days attract hordes to its beaches, but our mild winters give us the opportunity to set sail through choppier winter waves.

For sailors and for those seeking to get away from the more obvious winter pastimes, the once crowded bays become secluded sanctuaries of harmony and solitude.

In Malta, Fall and Winter, so often thought of as the seasons of work, land bound activities, and limited opportunities, are now prime times for us to enjoy a singular experience of sailing.

After spending the day sailing, you can sit down, relax, and watch the sun disappear into the sea. Sunset could become an absolutely spine-tingling experience with the sound of the rain rippling across the waves.

The more adventurous might also consider setting their sights on Sicily, Lampedusa, or Italy.

Nautica offers both bareboat and skippered charters.  Contact Nautica for more details about availability and prices.
